Description / About Exam:
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP is the mandatory MBA entrance exam for admission to 17 Symbiosis institutes including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, and SIBM Bangalore. Every year, over 1,00,000 candidates take the SNAP exam to get admission to prestigious colleges such as SIBM, SCMHRD, and SIIB.
Unlike CAT or XAT, SNAP is a speed-based exam — 60 questions in just 60 minutes. It is also unique because candidates can appear up to three times in the same year, and the best score is considered for admission.
Important Dates — SNAP 2026
SNAP 2026 registration process will start in the first week of August and end in mid-November 2026. The SNAP application form will be available at the official website snaptest.org.

Eligibility Criteria
SNAP 2026 eligibility requires candidates to have a graduation degree with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved categories). Final year students are also eligible to apply. There is no age limit.
Registration Fee
The application fee for SNAP is Rs. 2,250 per attempt. Candidates can take it up to three times per year. Each attempt requires a separate fee payment.
Exam Pattern
The SNAP test is 60 minutes long with 60 questions from English, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. There is negative marking of −0.25 for incorrect attempts. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
Section-wise breakup:
- General English: 15 questions
- Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: 20 questions
- Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 25 questions
Total: 60 questions — 60 minutes — 60 marks
Syllabus
General English: Grammar, Vocabulary, Syllogisms, Analogies, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms, Antonym-Synonym, One Word Substitution. Analytical and Logical Reasoning: Blood Relation, Clocks and Calendars, Number Series, Statements, Cause and Effects, Coding-Decoding, Puzzles. Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation: Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Time-Speed-Distance, Data Interpretation.
Cutoffs — SNAP 2026 (Expected)

Preparation Tips
SNAP exam preparation requires about 6 months. It is an easy exam but requires a lot of practice as speed is the key. Candidates planning to appear for SNAP 2026 must start preparation from May 2026 onwards. Focus on attempting questions fast and accurately. Take at least one full mock test every week from October onwards.
