Cutoff — Expected 2026

The ATMA score cutoffs in top MBA colleges in India range from 70 to 95 percentile.

  • Top-tier colleges (PUMBA, Welingkar): 85–95 percentile
  • Mid-level institutes (Jaipuria, IMS Ghaziabad): 70–85 percentile
  • Other participating colleges: 50–70 percentile

AIMS does not announce the ATMA cutoff for admission to any institutes. ATMA-accepting colleges fix their own cutoffs and shortlist students on that basis. Shiksha

Selection Process

Candidates scoring equal to or more than the cutoff marks have to participate in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Some institutes also conduct a Written Ability Test (WAT). Each institute has its own selection weightage for ATMA score, academic record, GD, PI, and work experience.

Top Colleges Accepting ATMA Score

PUMBA Pune, Welingkar Institute Mumbai and Bangalore, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida and Lucknow, IMS Ghaziabad, IBA Bangalore, JIMS Rohini Delhi, BVIMSR Mumbai, New Delhi Institute of Management, Indus Business Academy Bangalore, and 700+ other MBA and PGDM colleges across India.

Preparation Tips

Since ATMA is conducted 4 times a year, you can use your first attempt as a practice round. Focus on speed — the exam requires completing 180 questions in 180 minutes, meaning one question per minute. Verbal and Analytical sections are more scoring — prioritise them. Solve at least 5 previous year ATMA papers before each session. A free mock test is available on the official website atmaaims.com — attempt it at least once before your exam.
