Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT), Ludhiana is one of the well-known fashion and textile design institutes in Punjab. NIIFT was established by the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Punjab in 1995, with Ludhiana campus becoming operational later as a specialized centre for fashion and knitwear education.
