The Design Village - TDV
About College/University
The Design Village (TDV), Noida, is one of India's leading contemporary design institutes, founded by prominent Indian and European designers to create an industry-focused ecosystem for design education. Located in Sector 8, Noida, the institute follows a studio-based learning approach that combines creativity, technology, design thinking and real-world problem solving.
From the 2025–26 academic session, TDV collaborates with O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), under which students receive a UGC-recognized Bachelor of Design (Honours) degree. The curriculum has received international recognition through the Don Norman Design Award and emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, industry immersion and experiential education.
Students work in advanced fabrication labs, digital studios and collaborative maker spaces while participating in live industry projects, internships and international experiences. A key highlight is the two-month Creative Residency in Milan, Italy, integrated into the B.Des. programme, providing global exposure to one of the world's leading design hubs.
