Courses

B.Des (Hons.): A 4-year full-time undergraduate design programme combining foundation studies, studio practice, workshops, projects and industry exposure. Specialisations include Fashion, Interior, Communication, Animation, Game, Product, Transportation and Interaction Design.

M.Des: A 2-year postgraduate design programme offered in Visual Experiential Design, Interior & Architecture Design and Industrial Design.

Ph.D. in Design: A doctoral programme focused on advanced research and academic/professional development in design.

Global Design Programme (GDP): An interdisciplinary global-learning programme that provides international experiential learning opportunities in countries across Australia, Europe and USA/UK from the second year.

Course Eligibility

B.Des (Hons.): 10+2 pass/appearing from any stream, or a 3-year diploma equivalent to 10+2 from a recognised institution.

M.Des: 10+2+3/4-year degree or a 5-year diploma from a recognised institution/university.

General category admission: Minimum 50% aggregate in the last qualifying examination plus successful completion of UID's two-tier evaluation process.

Ph.D.: Eligibility depends on the applicable doctoral/research requirements.
