IIHMR University, Jaipur (Institute of Health Management Research) is a specialised university focused on health management, healthcare, pharmaceutical management, public health, development management and digital health. Its institutional origins date back to 1984, when the Indian Institute of Health Management Research was established. In 2014, IIHMR University was established as a postgraduate research university by the Government of Rajasthan.

The university operates through specialised schools including the Institute of Health Management Research, School of Pharmaceutical Management, M.L. Mehta School of Development Studies, S.D. Gupta School of Public Health and School of Digital Health.

IIHMR combines management education with healthcare and public-health expertise through industry interaction, field exposure, internships, research, case studies, healthcare projects and professional development.

Courses

MBA – Hospital & Health Management: A 2-year full-time MBA programme designed to prepare students for management roles across hospitals, healthcare organisations, health systems and health services. The programme focuses on healthcare operations, hospital administration, health systems and management.

MBA – Pharmaceutical Management: A 2-year full-time MBA programme designed for careers across the pharmaceutical, medical-device, healthcare and life-sciences sectors. The programme develops business and managerial skills alongside pharmaceutical-industry knowledge.

MBA – Healthcare Analytics: A 2-year full-time programme combining management education with healthcare analytics, data-driven decision-making and analytical tools for healthcare organisations.

MBA – Development Management: A 2-year full-time MBA programme focused on development-sector management, social impact, CSR, sustainability and related development organisations.

Master of Public Health (MPH): A 2-year postgraduate public-health programme focused on public-health systems, health policy, epidemiology and related areas. IIHMR also offers an MPH in cooperation with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.

Ph.D.: IIHMR University offers doctoral programmes in areas including Public Health, Health Management, Hospital Management, Digital Health/Healthcare Analytics and Development Management.

Course Eligibility

MBA Programmes

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. For SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 45%. Final-year bachelor's degree students may also apply, subject to fulfilling the required conditions.

Entrance Exams

CAT | XAT | NMAT | MAT | CMAT | ATMA | GPAT | CUET-PG | IIHMRU-MAT

The university accepts scores from recognised national-level management entrance examinations. GPAT is specifically applicable for MBA Pharmaceutical Management, while candidates without qualifying national-level scores can take the IIHMRU-MAT.
