Lok Jagruti University (LJ University) is a private university located off S.G. Road in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The university was established in 2019 under the Gujarat Private Universities Act and was included in the UGC list under Section 2(f). The university was created as an umbrella institution for several established educational institutes operated by Lok Jagruti Kendra.

The constituent institutions of the LJ group have been operating in different academic disciplines since the early 1980s. Today, LJ University offers programmes across Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, Architecture, Law, Physiotherapy, Commerce, Science, Media and other professional fields.

Course Eligibility

B.Tech: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/required subjects. Admission may be through GUJCET, JEE Main and applicable Gujarat admission procedures. Current 2026 information lists 45% aggregate as the basic eligibility for B.Tech.

MBA: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate. Accepted routes include CAT, CMAT and ACPC, subject to programme and admission rules.

BBA: 10+2 from a recognized board.

BCA: 10+2 from a recognized board with applicable subject requirements.

MCA: Bachelor's Degree with the required eligibility criteria.

B.Com: 10+2 from a recognized board.

B.Sc.: 10+2 with relevant Science subjects for applicable programmes.

B.Pharm: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as applicable under pharmacy admission rules.

B.Arch: 10+2 with required subjects and applicable architecture admission requirements.

Law Programmes: 10+2 for integrated law programmes and graduation for LLB, subject to applicable admission rules.

BPT: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Diploma: Class 10 / SSC or equivalent qualification for applicable diploma programmes.
