Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is a private higher-education institution located on Madanapalle-Kadiri Road, NH-42, in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Established in 1998, the institution received the status of a Deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, in July 2025.

Engineering & Technology: MITS offers B.Tech programmes in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Bioinformatics. The university also offers specialized CSE programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science and Cyber Security.

Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence: The computing portfolio includes CSE, CSE Artificial Intelligence, CSE Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, CSE Data Science, CSE Cyber Security and Computer Science & Technology. The university also has a dedicated School of AI & ML covering AI, AI & ML, AI & Data Science and AI & Robotics-related academic areas.

Management: MITS offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes through its School of Management. The programmes focus on business administration, management principles, professional skills and industry-oriented learning.

Computer Applications: The university offers Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). These programmes provide education in computer applications, software, programming and information technology.

M.Tech: MITS offers postgraduate engineering programmes including M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering with AI & ML, VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, Civil Engineering with Construction Engineering and Management, Automation & Robotics and Electric Vehicle Technology.

Course Eligibility

B.Tech: Candidates generally require 10+2 with the prescribed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/related subjects. The current 2026–27 fee and admission structure provides merit-based fee slabs based on Class 12 performance and qualifying examinations including state CETs and JEE.

BCA: Candidates require 10+2 or an equivalent qualifying examination. The official 2026–27 structure provides fee eligibility slabs based on qualifying examination performance.

BBA: Candidates require 10+2 or an equivalent qualification. The current MITS fee structure provides merit-based fee slabs for candidates with 75% and above.

M.Tech: Candidates require a relevant undergraduate engineering/technology qualification. Admission and fee waivers can depend on UG CGPA, PGECET/other CET rank or GATE qualification.

MBA: Candidates require a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. The current fee structure considers qualifying examination performance, ICET/other CET rank and CAT/MAT percentile for applicable fee categories.

MCA: Candidates require an appropriate bachelor's degree with the prescribed eligibility conditions. The current fee structure provides consideration based on qualifying examination performance and ICET/other CET rank.

Ph.D.: Candidates must satisfy the university's prescribed postgraduate qualification and doctoral admission requirements for the relevant research discipline. MITS currently lists Ph.D. as a separate admission category.
