Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (SITAMS) is an autonomous engineering and management institute located in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the academic year 1998–99 under Srinivasa Trust and has developed programmes in engineering, management and computer applications.

SITAMS is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUA. The institute received UGC 2(f) and 12(B) status in 2013 and has autonomous status for the 2024–29 period.

Courses

B.Tech: SITAMS offers B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The current sanctioned intake includes 300 seats for CSE, 120 for CSE-AIML, 180 for CSE-AI, 120 for CSE-DS, 180 for ECE and 30 each for EEE, Mechanical and Civil Engineering.

B.Tech Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can enter directly into the second year of B.Tech through the lateral-entry route. SITAMS states that lateral-entry admissions are made for up to 20% of the intake based on ECET merit.

M.Tech: SITAMS offers M.Tech programmes in VLSI System Design, Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics and Product Design. The current sanctioned intakes are 9 seats for VLSI, 9 for CSE, 9 for Power Electronics and 18 for Product Design.

MBA: The institute offers a two-year Master of Business Administration programme with a sanctioned intake of 60 students.

Course Eligibility

B.Tech: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. The official SITAMS eligibility requires at least 45% marks for OC candidates and 40% for BC/SC/ST candidates. Admission is through the Andhra Pradesh EAPCET process.

B.Tech Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can seek admission directly into the second year of B.Tech. Lateral-entry seats are filled based on ECET merit under the applicable Andhra Pradesh admission rules.

M.Tech: Candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree or equivalent with at least 45% marks for OC candidates and 40% for BC/SC/ST candidates. Admission is through PGECET/GATE or the applicable management route.

MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, with the official SITAMS eligibility specifying 45% marks for OC candidates and 40% for BC/SC/ST candidates. Admission is through ICET or the applicable management admission route.

MCA: Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree such as B.Sc./BCA or equivalent, with at least 45% marks for OC candidates and 40% for BC/SC/ST candidates. Admission is through ICET or the applicable management admission route.

Placement

SITAMS maintains a dedicated Training and Placement Cell and publishes year-wise placement records, including a 2024–25 placement record. The placement cell provides training in communication, quantitative and logical ability, technical skills, programming, personality development and interview preparation.

During 2025, SITAMS reported placement drives involving AU Small Finance Bank, Joyalukkas Group and SmartED. Joyalukkas offered Management Trainee roles with reported packages of ₹5–7 LPA for eligible MBA students.
