Vivekananda Global University (VGU) is a private university located at Jaipur, Rajasthan, established in 2012. The university is recognized by the UGC and currently holds NAAC A+ accreditation. VGU has developed a multidisciplinary academic ecosystem covering engineering, technology, management, computer applications, law, sciences, pharmacy, allied health, design, architecture, agriculture, humanities, media and hospitality.

Courses

B.Tech: VGU offers undergraduate engineering programmes in CSE, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, IoT & Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering, along with specialized and premium technology programmes. The curriculum combines engineering fundamentals with practical projects, industry certifications and emerging technologies.

B.Des: The 4-year B.Des programme covers Fashion, Interior, Visual Communication, UX & Communication, and Textile & Product Design. It focuses on studio practice, design thinking, visual communication, materials, technology, user experience and industry-oriented projects.

M.Des: The 2-year M.Des programme offers specialisations in UX & Communication, Fashion & Textile, and Interior & Product Design, providing advanced design research, studio practice and professional development.

BBA: VGU offers BBA/BBA (Hons.) programmes in areas including General Management, Digital Business and International Business, along with specialized management pathways.

MBA: The university offers MBA programmes across Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, International Business, IT, Healthcare, Operations, Agri-Business, FinTech, Strategy & Consulting, ESG & Sustainability, International Finance, Sales & Marketing and People Management. An MBA with foreign trip and internship and an industry-collaborated MBA + PGPM are also available.

BCA / MCA: Computing programmes cover AI & Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Full Stack Development, Blockchain, UX, Information Security and AI & ML.

B.Com: Current commerce programmes include B.Com General/Banking and B.Com International Finance. 

Course Eligibility

• UG programmes: Generally Class 12/equivalent with the required subjects and prescribed marks.
• B.Tech: Class 12 with the relevant science subjects; JEE/VGUCET or applicable admission route may be considered.
• B.Des: Class 12/equivalent with the prescribed eligibility criteria.
• B.Arch: Class 12 with required subjects and NATA/JEE Paper 2 or applicable architecture admission route.
• MBA: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; CAT/MAT/other accepted entrance scores or VGUCET may be considered.
• M.Tech/MCA/M.Des/M.Sc./MA/LLM etc.: Relevant bachelor's qualification.
• PhD: Relevant postgraduate/qualifying degree plus VGU's doctoral admission requirements.

For 2026–27, VGU's admission portal lists VGUCET alongside programme-specific examinations such as JEE, NATA, CLAT, JET and AIFSET depending on the course.
